ORA started in 1921 when Oreste Agnini and Ralph Singer founded Agnini & Singer, the first Jewelry Company in Chicago. First making shoe buckles and hair combs, then began manufacturing fashion jewelry and later fratetrnal jewelry.  Ora was advertised in VOGUE  and others. The mark was used in 1941. In 1984, the company was purchased by the Stanford Smith family of Kenilworth, Illinois. Their jewelry is made from the original molds dating back to 1921 and continue to use only the finest materials.
